Momentive CRTV5120 is a paste-consistency, semi-conductive RTV silicone sealant engineered for electronic and industrial applications where EMI/RFI shielding and semi-conductivity are critical.

On exposure to atmospheric moisture, CRTV5120 cures to a tough, durable silicone elastomer. Its acetic acid cure system ensures reliable adhesion without primers on most metals, ceramics, silicone rubber, glass, and plastics. For difficult substrates, primers such as Momentive SS4004P, SS4044P, or SS4155 are recommended.

This sealant is particularly suited for gaskets and seals in electronic housings, enclosures, and connectors where electrical semi-conductivity is a key design factor. With a surface resistivity of ~500 Ω, it provides consistent shielding performance while retaining the mechanical resilience of a silicone rubber.

Its paste-like consistency allows application on vertical and overhead surfaces in layers up to 10 mm. Once cured, CRTV5120 demonstrates excellent tensile strength (2.0 MPa), elongation (250%), and reliable performance under high and low temperature extremes.
