Description

Momentive RTV41 is a white, two-part silicone rubber compound widely used in potting, encapsulating, and electrical insulation applications. Supplied as a pourable base with curing agents, RTV41 cures at room temperature into a durable elastomer with excellent thermal and electrical properties.

With a working time of 1 hour and full cure in 24 hours, RTV41 is suitable for medium-depth pours and complex assemblies. Once cured, it maintains elastomeric flexibility, excellent dielectric strength (520 V/mil), and thermal stability across a wide service range.

RTV41 is also valued for its release properties, providing surfaces on metals and fabrics from which paints and adhesives can be easily stripped. This makes it ideal not only for electronics encapsulation but also for cast-in-place gaskets, molds, and release coatings.
