Momentive RTV6424

Momentive RTV6424 is a white, one-part, heat-curable silicone adhesive sealant that provides strong, reliable bonding to a variety of materials without primer. The product cures rapidly at elevated temperatures (125–150 °C) to form a flexible, durable elastomer.

Unlike moisture-cured silicones, RTV6424 remains stable at room temperature for long working times, curing only when heated — allowing for precise assembly and long handling time before cure. Once cured, the material exhibits excellent dielectric strength (500 V/mil), high elongation (550%), and robust adhesion to metals and ceramics, making it suitable for electronic encapsulation, component sealing, and heat-resistant bonding applications.

Due to its non-corrosive nature, RTV6424 is especially well-suited for use with copper and sensitive electronic components. The product must be stored below –18 °C to ensure long-term stability.
