Description
Patco® 1800 Galley Tape is a flame retardant, acrylic-adhesive, PVC moisture barrier tape designed to provide long-lasting corrosion protection for aircraft interior structures. Commonly referred to as “Black Mylar Tape” or “Galley Tape”, it’s applied to areas exposed to water and humidity—such as galleys, lavatories, and entryways—where moisture intrusion can cause damage to subfloor structures.
The conformable vinyl film backing allows Patco 1800 to adhere tightly around corners, rivets, and contours without delaminating, while the acrylic adhesive system ensures excellent compatibility with common aircraft sealants.
This tape provides durable sealing performance, abrasion resistance, and FAR 25.853(a) flame compliance, making it a trusted choice among aircraft OEMs and MRO operators worldwide.
