Momentive RTV88 with DBT Catalyst is a premium condensation-cure silicone rubber used for potting, encapsulating, and mold fabrication.
DBT, the standard catalyst for RTV88, provides moderate cure speed and extended work life, allowing flexible processing in both prototype and production environments.

This silicone cures at room temperature into a tough, resilient rubber with excellent release performance and low shrinkage. Its zinc- and solvent-free formulation ensures clean operation and compatibility with sensitive assemblies.

Typical uses include casting molds for low-melting alloys, rubber rollers, motor and transformer potting, and thermal insulation in aerospace and industrial applications where long-term reliability and high-temperature endurance are required.
