Description

Polyken 296FR is a flame-retardant, lightweight fiberglass cloth tape developed for aircraft cargo pit applications, including liner repair, seam sealing, and rivet covering. Engineered to meet Boeing BMS 5-146, this tape provides high tensile strength, flame penetration resistance, and outstanding adhesion to metal and composite surfaces.

Its bromide-free acrylic adhesive offers superior bonding while maintaining clean removal, making it suitable for temporary or permanent installation during MRO and manufacturing processes. The fiberglass carrier provides dimensional stability and strength, while the LDPE release liner ensures easy unwind and precise placement.

Polyken 296FR complies with FAA FAR 25.853(a) and 25.855(d) standards for flame resistance, as well as Airbus ABD0031 and multiple Boeing and Bombardier specifications, ensuring global aerospace compatibility.
